NIMJN recently facilitated a three-day multimedia journalism workshop titled ‘Online Reporting Training’ for 18 journalists and reporters in the Panchthar district of Koshi province in eastern Nepal. It was organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists' Panchthar Branch. NIMJN provided the necessary technical support.

The three-day workshop trained journalists on digital and verification tools for online and multimedia reporting along with the emerging AI tools for journalists. Sessions on digital and verification tools sessions were conducted as per AAJA-Asia and the Google News Initiative (GNI)'s training curriculum. The workshop was conduced from June 4 to June 6, 2023, in Phidim.
