Elina Diyali is the recipient of the NIMJN Multimedia Reporting Grant. She is also a DEI Fellow at NIMJN. She is based in Taplejung and works as a news coordinator at Radio Kabeli 95.8 MHz. With more than 6 years of experience in the journalism field, Elina began her journey in the media industry after winning the Best News Reader award at an RJ Hunt competition organized by Radio Simrik. She then joined Radio Rhythm as a news reporter, news reader, and program presenter. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Journalism.

As one of the NIMJN DEI fellows, Elina is interested in reporting on issues centering on the marginalized communities of her province, with a special focus on women.
