This event was organized on October 14, 2022.

The main objectives for this Talk were to make the participants aware of Dengue and its symptoms, treatments, and prevention techniques, and its endemic in Nepal. The keynote speaker was Dr. Prabhat Adhikari, MD, Infectious diseases & critical care. This Talk covered the topics like a short history of dengue, its signs and symptoms, the available treatment options, the measures that can be adopted to prevent it, useful food and nutrition during the infection, and also what the government needs to do to combat this outbreak. 

A total of 19 participants participated in this program and discussed this topic. The program’s main focus was the safety of investigative journalists during this endemic. Through this event, the participants were able to learn the necessary information regarding the Dengue outbreak, the current situation, and what can be done before, during, and after the infection period.
